This is a design project that I completed for
Google’s User Experience Design Program.
You can look at the interactive prototype here, and you’ll find an overview of my design process below, organized based on the five steps of the design thinking process.

All users were able to access and add a suitable library to their favorites list.View the interactive prototype here: https://shorten.ly/P5R21
To get more information about people’s needs
in relation to university libraries, I conducted
a survey & completed secondary research by
perusing posts by university students on Reddit.
Quotes
“To the lady who had her e
ntire workstation assembled
(1 MacBook, 3 screens with
a stand) in the Science and
Engineering Library...
please I request you not
hoard all the available
outlets on the table.”
“i’m a commuter student
so it’s not an overnight visitbut i want to bring my friend
to like bobst or mercer.does the visitor access policy
cover that?? or just dorms??”
User Personas

During the ideation phase, I sketched the above paper prototypes to quickly test layouts and information hierarchy (organization) with usersbefore moving into finalized, high-fidelity designs.
